Okay, I recently got an MBox with Pro Tools. I understand there is compatibility problems with Leopard (Which I have) so that's all fine for the time being, the problem is, I installed Pro Tools to try it, long story short, It didn't work, so i Uninstalled it. Wanting to use my MBox and new speakers, I thought I'd try recording on Garageband... It wouldn't open.
Is this something to do with the fact I installed Pro Tools? (Even though I took it off again) Or is it because you can't use Digidesign hardware with Garageband? Or something else?
'The application Garageband quit unexpectedly' (Even though it hadn't opened - still 'initialising')
Final question... is there any way to uninstall Garageband, then re-install?
Thanks in advance.

Garageband Not Opening On Ipad
Try again after each step
GarageBand will work on all iPads. The initial rumour was that GarageBand is an iPad 2 exclusive, but it now seems that it'll run on the original model too. However, we're guessing that this will be a pretty processor-intensive app (the desktop version is surprisingly CPU-hungry), so if you want to get the most out of it, you'll need an iPad 2. - In the App Store, tap Updates. Find GarageBand in the list. If you see Update next to GarageBand, tap Update. If not, skip this step.
- If you use Audio Units Extensions or Inter-App Audio apps as instruments or effects with GarageBand, check with the manufacturer for updates.
- If you use an external audio interface, disconnect it. If GarageBand works, you might need to update or service your audio interface.
- Delete any Audio Units Extensions or Inter-App Audio apps.
- Create a new song, then play it. If it works, check your other songs and solo tracks to see which one caused the issue.
- Reset GarageBand. Go to Settings > GarageBand, then tap Reset GarageBand. When you reset GarageBand, your song files, presets, or patches aren't affected. Other custom settings, such as the 24-bit audio resolution and Multitrack Recording settings, are reset to factory defaults.
- Back up any songs on your device. Then delete GarageBand and redownload it.
